Community Meeting this Tuesday 6/27 at 6 PM
Join us this Tuesday, June 27 at 6pm online for our monthly community meeting in our Fight Against Data Driven Policing. We will be talking about Pride and the anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising, and how our fights and work is connected. We’ll also be talking about LAPD’s central community policing program, Community Safety Partnerships (CSP), and how the program is expanding despite CSP residents’ demands to defund the program. We’ll also talk more about LAPD’s Architecture of Surveillance – how it shows up on CSP sites, as well as our recent PRA work on mapping surveillance at Echo Park Lake and other areas.
