Community Meeting Tue 8/6 at 6:00pm
Join us this Tuesday at 6:00pm in-person at LA CAN for our monthly meeting on the policing of gender and sexuality. This month, the Gender and Sexuality working group will be exhibiting the preliminary stages of a collaborative project with researchers from York University mapping the criminalization of sex work in LA.
For the second half of our meeting we will be creating space to reflect on last Wednesday’s city council vote attempting to provide up to $2M in funding for a private Zionist militia. We will also be strategizing around what next steps we can take to fight against the expansion of surveillance and policing in service of Zionism.
