Greetings dear friends, here’s what we’ve been up to:
On Wedneday 5/1:
The Coalition celebrated May Day with a march and rally organized by a group of powerful organizations here in LA. This year’s march culminated in a rally across from USC in support of the students currently protesting the university’s complicity in the genocide in Gaza. The Coalition practiced our Watch the Watchers counter surveillance program, with teams tracking police activity around the protest.
On Thursday 5/2:
This week’s episode of Radio Insurrection featured special guests Lupey Cardona, one of the educators who led the development of the liberated ethnic studies program, and the Coalition’s own Akhil Gopal. You can listen to the episode at kpfk.org/archives.
