10/14:
On Tuesday, the Coalition held our monthly War on Youth Meeting where we talked about the history of the war against youth, and its ties with October 22nd. Later, we did an art build where we made protest art in preparation for O22.
10/17:
The Coalition helped out at LA CAN’s Marketplace this Friday where we shared produce, lunch, music, art, and tiny potted plants with herbs for folks to take home and grow ourselves!
10/18:
On Saturday, we held our monthly Youth Day in the Park where we made tissue paper flowers for O22 to make an ofrenda for those who have been murdered by police violence.
10/19:
We had another art build on Saturday where we made some super awesome protest objects (piñatas!) for O22!
