Join us for our monthly 4th Tuesday webinar, as we continue to uncover the structures of police and state surveillance and how they are used to criminalize and displace Black, brown, and poor communities as well as folks that are unhoused, disabled, queer and trans, sex workers, and part of the migrant and street vendor communities. We will talk about BIDs (Business Improvement Districts) and their collaboration with LAPD to coordinate surveillance, criminalization, and displacement, and we will join in conversation with organizers from Chinatown Community for Equitable Development (CCED) to hear more about their work and fight.
