Join us for our webinar about Data-Driven Policing and Land and Policing! This month we will continue our exploration of LAPD’s “Data-Informed, Community Focused” Policing and will examine the ways police and city tactics target and criminalize members of the Black queer and trans community. We will also share space with one of our members, a local Black trans activist and artist who organizes and raises funds on behalf of Black trans women and Black queer artists. Additionally, we will be joined by a member of the Los Angeles Community Action Network to talk more about the DTLA 2040 plan and the proposed rezoning of Skid Row, and how this fits in the history of how Skid Row’s boundaries have been pushed back and policed. Join us in conversation and in our fight against Data-Driven Policing!
