Community Meeting – Tuesday November 22nd at 6PM
Since 2011, Stop LAPD Spying has been organizing to dismantle the police state through direct action and research. In that time we have amassed volumes of public records requests, research notes, and images documenting the expansion of LAPD surveillance technologies and the growth of our resistance. Stop LAPD Spying has been building an archiving website for the last two years to compile these documents and make them accessible to community members. This Tuesday, we’ll be offering folks a sneak peek at our archiving sights and discussing ways to archive the community’s fight and subvert the state’s archiving model. Additionally, we’ll be talking about the LAPD’s new proposed budget, which includes a $119M increase!!
