This past Tuesday, the Coalition attended the Board of Police Commissioner’s meeting where we joined the families, loved ones, and communities of Anthony Sowell, Yong Yang, and Linda Becerra-Moran in continuing to uplift their lives, and to continue to fight against their murders, and all of the murders at the hands of LAPD.
That evening, we continued the fight against the War on Youth as we discussed new waves of repression and our fightback. We also made buttons with anti-PATHE and anti-LASAR art.

On Thursday, we attended the youth committee meeting with the Community Self-Defense Coalition.

The Coalition also attended LA CAN’s Resident’s Organizing Committee monthly meeting where we talked about the fightback in Skid Row.

This Sunday, we also held a listening session in Nickerson Gardens to fight back against Community Safety Partnerships and Community Policing models.
