12/02:
On Tuesday December 2nd, the Coalition went to CalArts to speak with students about the surveillance state, predictive policing, and our ongoing fights. We also held our monthly Gender and Sexuality meeting where we talked about TERFs (trans exclusionary radical feminists), SWERFs (Sex Worker Exclusionary Radical Feminists), and our fight for decriminalization of sex work.
12/05:
The Coalition supported LA CAN’s Food and Wellness Committee at the monthly Wellness Marketplace, where we were able to share produce like avocados, salad from our rooftop, and more! We ate a delicious meal with chicken and pasta and built power around ongoing food policy that impacts all of our access to delicious and nutritious meals.
12/06:
On Saturday, we went to the Community Self Defense Coalition meeting and training. Later that afternoon, we held a meeting where we continue to build our fight against LASAR (Los Angeles School Anonymous Reporting) at LACAN.
