09/09:
On Tuesday, the Coalition attended the Board of Police Commissioners meeting where they cut public comment off early, cutting off 16 speakers!
That night, we held our War on Youth Meeting where we talked about LASAR, and went over some of the LASAR reports together to see the nature of the reports and what types of things people are reporting.
09/10:
That Wednesday, we attended LA CAN’s Human and Civil Rights Meeting where we talked about the BoPC and sites of fightback that we have.
09/12:
The Coalition went to LA CAN’s Resident Organizing Committee meeting where we talked about food access and health care access, as well as the impacts of Trump’s OBBA on folks’ access to benefits.
09/13:
On Saturday, the Coalition attended the Community Self Defense Coalition meeting where we continue to build out our fight back against ICE, and our work to keep each other safe!
