07/29:
On Tuesday, the Coalition attended the Board of Police Commissioners meeting where we continued to expose them for the myth of the Sanctuary City, as well as their ever increasingly murderous nature. Later that evening, instead of a community meeting (because it was the 5th Tuesday!), we held a research meeting to begin to dive deeper into Real Time Crime Centers, the Big Beautiful Bill, and more.
07/30:
The Coalition had a few working group meetings on Wednesday and Thursday, including diving deeper into Social Media Surveillance, Community Policing, and the Coalition for Community Self-Defense. We also did outreach.
08/02:
On Saturday, the Coalition supported with the Community Self-Defense Coalition Training, and we tabled at the UTLA conference to talk more with educators and community about what our fightback looks like!
Our members also attended the PYM fundraiser this past week!
