Happy Lunar New Year!
To start off the lunar new year, we had our general community meeting where we went over our statement of principles zine some more, as well as talked about policing operations and Flock Safety, an Automatic License Plate Reader vendor who enables LAPD to stalk us in real time.
On 2/18, we went to LA CAN’s Human and Civil Rights committee meeting where we continued to power map our fightback!
On Friday, we attended LA CAN’s Justice and Wellness marketplace, full of delicious food from Chef Bless and Chef Lateecia, as well as music, speeches, and political education. We also had lots of fresh produce to enjoy together.
We closed out our week at the community self defense coalition meeting and Youth Day in the Park, where we made a banner together for future youth days! Including some components of the world we want to see (including
