Join us for our monthly webinar for the fight against the War on Youth. This month we will be discussing recent anti-trans legislation that weaponizes mandated reporting and child protective services to target and criminalize Black, indigenous, immigrant, and trans youth. We will include a discussion on how mandated reporting is used to gather information to be shared between the Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS) and other state agencies, facilitating the surveillance and criminalization of poverty and strengthening the information sharing environment. We will also discuss the recent school shooting in Uvalde, highlighting how the state uses school shootings to increase policing. Join the fight!
