LAPD is demanding a $213M increase over this year, which would make this their largest budget ever. Join us as we delve into what’s in the budget – a document that is over 700 pages – and how we are building and pushing back on these tools and systems of surveillance and violence. We will also share detailed police budget records we recently got by suing LAPD. We have started dissecting those records with Black Lives Matter LA and other community groups. Join us for conversation and to build power in our fight!
