This past week, the Coalition mobilized to the Board of Police Commissioners one final time before LAPD’s Memorandum of Understanding with Flock “Safety” expires. We continued to expose what Flock Safety is, and what the harms are, from stalking women, to exposing undocumented folks to ICE, we know that Flock Safety must be shut down! Because it was the fifth Tuesday of the month, we didn’t have a community meeting on Tuesday night, but we did meet with LACAN’s Human and Civil Rights group on Wednesday 7/1, where we talked about LACAN’s upcoming art night, and meetings that will be hosted in Skid Row in the coming weeks.
On Thursday, we went to LA CAN’s Downtown Women’s Action Coalition meeting, we learned how to use notion websites, and we had our War on Youth meeting to continue to plan for our upcoming youth summer internship!
