On Tuesday, the Coalition attended the Board of Police Commissioners Meeting where we exposed them for their newly updated and still inaccurate and intentionally unclear report on which federal task forces LAPD participates in. They had released their annual report the meeting before, and released a new version that cited dozens more agencies in the new addition, publicly exposing how they lied.
That evening, we held our monthly General Meeting in which we talked about the 92 Rebellion — from the bravery of the riots, to the constant counterinsurgent narratives and repression at the hands of the state, and what it means to bring the spirit of riots into our daily lives.
This is part of an ongoing moment in which we are celebrating the spirit and legacies of the Riots and we will be talking more about it with Legacy Library on Thursday!
