On Saturday 6/8:
The Coalition supported the Palestinian Youth Movement’s action outside of City Hall condemning Biden’s continued participation in the genocide of Palestinians. The action was organized concurrently with other actions across the country. Our very own Hamid Khan uplifted the interconnectivity of our struggles and named the continued violence by local officials in furtherance of violence in Palestine.
On Tuesday 6/11:
The Coalition attended the Board of Police Commissioners meeting, where we denounced the LAPD’s swift and violent response to protest in support of Palestine outside City Hall.
That evening, the Coalition held our first in-person monthly War on Youth meeting in over four years! The crew discussed our upcoming escalation in our fight against the LAUSD youth surveillance app, LASAR.
On Thursday 6/13:
John Raphling from Human Rights Watch joined Radio Insurrection to discuss the upcoming efforts to ramp up criminalization in California, by repealing Prop 47. You can listen to the episode at kpfk.org/archives.
