Join us this Tuesday at 6 pm, online, for our monthly War on Youth webinar. This month, we will be participating in small group discussions to go over a collection of readings highlighting trends in youth criminalization over time. We will also be mapping manifestations of these trends through an interactive timeline and analyzing counterinsurgency’s role in perpetuating the existence of carceral structures despite overwhelming community opposition, primarily in the form of mass uprisings such as the 2020 George Floyd and Breonna Taylor protests.
