Abolish Social Media Surveillance

Community Meeting – In-Person – 6PM at LA CAN

The LAPD has rapidly been growing its social media surveillance arsenal, targeting the same communities they have also targeted for criminalization, surveillance and violence.  Social media companies have been lining their pockets through LAPD’s surveillance of social media platforms. Come learn about how the LAPD is using the practice of social network analysis and third party social media surveillance software to amplify its racist violence. We also want to hear about the community’s experiences with LAPD surveillance on social media.

Join us next Tuesday 11/15 @ 6PM, in-person at LA CAN to learn more! LA CAN is located at 838 E 6th St Los Angeles, CA 90021
